Photography is a hobby, so does Maximaphily. Whether the hobby is an affordable one depends on the  individual's investment on the hobby. It can be very minimum or it can be no limit to the expenditure. No matter what, it is a hobby. A hobby gives one pleasure and satisfaction, it is NOT measured by the money you spent on the hobby.

Maximum Cards are "Philatelic" items and They Can Never Be "Postal" items

To send a postcard, a stamp is to be affixed on the addresse side and NOT supposed to be on the Picture side of a postcard. A maximum card , however, bears a stamp on the picture side, which is completely contradicting to the normal usage of a postcard. A maximum card obviously violates to the posting rules guided by the UPU. A maximum card is therefore a Philatelic Item created for the pleasure of collecting. Very rarely one receives a postcard that goes through the mailing system which has a postage stamp affixed on the picture side, hence, it is practically "impossible" to have maximum cards that are postally used. Since Maximum Cards are "philatelic" in nature, We all know about the fact of a Maximum Card. If it is NOT "philatelic", it is NOT a maximum card. Collecting maximum cards will NOT be the same as those who are collecting postal history items - they are completely different kind of HOBBIES, although, there is a common link between the 2 hobbies i.e the Postage Stamp. As the saying goes "one man's food may be another man's poison", truly enough, Maximaphily may be one's food, BUT poison to another man. The question of maximaphily being "philatelic" should NOT be raised once and again, if one does NOT like the hobby, well, he has the liberty for NOT picking up the hobby - it is NOTHING to do with whether the material is "philatelic" or NOT. It is absurd to judge a maximum card for NOT being "postal". A hobby fades by itself if the strength of its popularity declines , it is definitely NOT determined by someone who is NOT collecting the cards at ALL.

Maximaphily is NOT new, however,  it wasn't a hobby of our grandparents' period, nor a hobby of our parents' days. It is a hobby of my age, and it will be a hobby of my future generations. Maximaphily is a creative hobby, you create maximum cards to collect them. No creation, No collection - the satisfaction and joy comes from your creation. Maximum cards are your own conceived babies - that's why we love our MCs cos' they are like our babies. Of course one can buy or exchange Maximum Cards with others, there is no problem with that.

This is definitely NOT a Maximum Card. It is a private collectible - a nice 2008 mini calender card + stamp + FDI cancel . Whether you like it or not, I keep it.

A conversation between Ballroom Dance and Street Dance

One afternoon , Ballroom Dance saw Street Dance performing on the street :
Ballroom Dance : Hey, You are NOT performing a Dance, that is NOT a dance according to the Traditional rules.
Street Dance : Street Dance is  my hobby, I like to shake my body the way I like, I do not need to dance in the Traditional way.
Ballroom Dance : Street Dance is new, even if you can perform stance , the Dance will eventually get no way. You will better pick up the traditional ball dancing.
Street Dance : Yes, I agree that Street Dance is rather new, it is no way to compare with the history of traditional ball dance, BUT, it does not harm you if I dance my way, right?
Ballroom Dance : Since you are dancing, you should invest in the Traditional Ball Dance, you can dance your way throughout your life and win competition.
Street Dance : Thank you for your advice, I am NOT interested in any competition, I just want to enjoy my own hobby of Street Dance. You dance your way, I dance my way. I can see Street Dance is getting popular among the younger generations, and Seniors are joining in to Dance as well. Your rules do NOT fit me. Go ahead with your Dance in elegant costume , live music in Gala evening, do enjoy yourself. I prefer my Street Dance, casual wear, rock music in ordinary relax street environments.

Maximaphily is purely a Hobby 收集极限片纯粹是个人嗜好

Collecting maximum cards is purely a personal hobby. You see it, you like it, you collect it. It is rather personal. It is your kind of food, however, it may be poison for others. However, nobody can stop you from developing your interest in the Hobby. You like the hobby, you can spend dollars to acquire the maximum cards you like. For others, spending a penny on maximum cards may be an unwise behaviour. You are the master of yourself, the hobby accompanies you for the rest of your life, therefore, you are to decide for yourself on your own hobby and Not others to tell you what to do. You have the freedon to say what you want to say on your hobby,  you can show whatever you want to show on your hobby, others have the freedom for NOT listening to or looking at your hobby. The population cultivating the hobby grows, no one is able to STOP the growth, it is the trend that gears the hobby ahead. It is a reality and fact that whether one likes it or NOT, the hobby is growing, the hobby is getting into the people. I take up Maximaphily as my personal Hobby, it has been accompanying me for many years, No one taught me how to "create" maximum cards, I read an article many years ago where the author wrote about this collectible ( it was not a common hobby picked up by anybody then ), I very much liked the collectible. I did NOT have any maximum card in my custody and had not seen one before ( besides the example shown in the article I read ). I was eager to create my own Maximum cards using Malaysian postage stamps, hence, I began to build up my own Malaysian Maximum Cards collection one card at a time .... No one was selling Malaysian Maximum Card. I develop my own hobby, I do NOT have to please anybody to cultivate my own hobby.

There are modern postcards depicting Kg. Kling Mosque on sale everywhere in Melaka. It is hard to hunt down a postcard showing the Kg. Hulu Mosque. The above is a postcard of the 70s showing a view of the Kg. Hulu Mosque. The PAGODA standing next to the mosque is the unique feature of the Mosque.

Kg. Hulu Mosque and Kg. Kling Mosque, They look alike BUT located at different locations in Malacca 冯京当马凉，此清真寺非彼清真寺，马六甲Kg.Ulu清真寺, 制作极限片小心给弄错了。

Pos Malaysia issued a set of stamps commemorating the 750th anniversary of Malacca, one of the stamps featured a famous mosque namely Kampung Hulu Mosque. Some had realised  maximum cards of the Mosque with a common postcard readily available in the streets of Malacca. The said postcard features a mosque of the similar architecture of the same color scheme, the name of the mosque on the postcard is Kg. Kling Mosque.

There exists a distinct difference between the 2 mosques and it can be easily be spotted by the Pagoda like minaret by the sides of the respective mosque.

Kg. Ulu Mosque

Kampung Hulu mosque built in 1728 AD is said to be the oldest mosque in Malaysia still maintaining its original building and site. The mosque is situated north of Jalan Tukang Emas, also known as "Harmony Street" because of its proximity to the Sri Payyatha Viyanagar Moorthi Temple and Cheng Hoon Teng Temple.

 Kampung Kling Mosque

Kampung Kling Mosque in Malacca is one of the oldest mosques in Malaysia. It was built in 1748. This mosque is located at the junction between Jalan Lekiu and Jalan Tukang Emas.
