沙爹或烤肉串，是东南亚一带著名的传统食物，适合各民族人民食用。沙爹先以香酱料腌制，食材有鸡，牛，羊肉。传统沙爹以木炭烧烤，吃的时候配各种辛辣的醬。沙爹虽然已成一种普遍的食物，却仍是传统节日或大型宴会上的举足轻重食物。

I like Reggie Lee's series of postcard production, they are collectibles to be treasured. I missed the many wonderful postcards produced by him and regret that the production has since been stopped for the past years.

向来特喜欢雷奇李出品的明信片，非常有特色的收藏品。雷奇李产品停止发行多年，不禁叫人怀念。

In the 80s, Reggie Lee Designer's Postcards marketed through memory lane were common on the postcard racks throughout Malaysia. Many popular themes were produced and they are absolutely good materials for realising Maximum cards. Reggie Lee Designer had stopped producing new postcards, old stocks are getting scarce and it is hard to hunt for them nowadays. I used to buy up some of these cards whenever I see them,although, they are no longer as fresh as mint,very often covered with dirt.

I had used this cartoon satay man postcard to realise Maximum cards for several new stamp issues in the past.  I am using it again this time for the Hong Kong - Malaysia Joint Issue.

80年代时期，Reggie Lee Designer 明信片在市场推出一系列的主题明信片。这一些由 memory lane 出版的明信片很适合制作极限片。出版社已经停止印制明信片，存货已经越来越稀有。一般我看到有关系列的明信片，虽然品相不佳，稀薄灰尘沾满面，我依然会购买一些来备用。

我曾用这一枚 reggie lee designer 沙爹人漫画明信片制作了无数新马新邮极限片。这一回还是重用它来制作 香港-大马联发的地道美食极限片，胜任有余！共赏！

I have this "Satay Man postcard" by SW Singapore printer of the 1960s, to a pure deltiologist ,he prefers to keep the postcard in its vintage condition, however, I prefer to give this postcard a new life by turning it into a maximum card as I am a pure maximaphilist. Nobody is right or wrong.
Mobile satay man selling across the streets and alleys had been a common scene in the past. Equipped with tools, a satay man can prepare satay freely at any place. Just as the picture of the postcard shows, I enjoyed the moments of eating satay in an open air environment.

Well, life has gone through tremendous changes, selling satay on the streets is disappearing from our sight.Production of satay is highly commercialised, and of course the original flavour of the satay is Gone. I can now find the fragrance of satay flavour in my Maximum Card. Enjoy!

这一枚“沙爹人”明信片是新加坡著名明信片印制商于60年代所发行。对于一个纯明信片收集者而言，他会选择保存原片而收存。然而我却选择赋予这一枚老片一个新生命，把它制成一枚极限片，因为我是一个极限人。大家都是在收集，没有所谓的对与错。
流动“沙爹人”骑着铁马到处叫卖沙爹在早年时代极为普遍。一个“沙爹人”载着简单的烧制沙爹工具，就可随处叫卖沙爹。 正如明信片上的“沙爹人”现场烧制情景，叫我缅怀那一年在露天即兴享受吃沙爹的乐趣。

时代变迁，“沙爹人”随街叫卖的情景已不复在。如今沙爹的制作已经机械化，少了传统烧制的美味。我也只能回到我制作的极限片上一享沙爹风味的乐趣。共赏！
