I find international exhibition venues are ideal grounds for making Maximum Cards.
I was visiting Bangkok 2010, and found many lose stamps were sold at the exhibition booths at cheap price. Several booths were selling cheap postcards too. I did NOT have to pay to buy up the full set of stamps for making individual Maximum cards. Had the wonderful time in realising a couple of beautiful Maximum Cards. Share one Maximum Card I realised at Bangkok - the Green Peacock.

去过很多邮展，觉得是个好时机制作国外的极限片。2010 年到曼谷世界邮展参观，喜见会场有许多摊位在售卖零散的专题邮票，价钱廉宜。也有多间售卖明信片的摊位，发现明信片主题都和邮票吻合，非常适合制作极限 片。因此乘此机会制作了一些极限片留存。分享一枚曼谷制作的极限片 - 绿孔雀。共赏。

A glimpse of MC exhibits @ Joburg 2010 held from 27-31 October, 2010

Joburg 2010 is due to close on 31st October, 2010. There are 5 Maximaphily Exhibits on display at the FIAP exhibitions. As usual a majority of the exhibits are related to Architectures and sculptures - that is the area where most of the classic MCs can be found.

Result for the the Maximaphily exhibits @ Bangkok 2010

The performance of the Maximaphily exhibits @ Bangkok 2010 was below expectation, Exhibits previously exhibited had been downgraded due to the present of FAKE maximum cards. Maximum card collectors are therefore to be very cautious in purchasing Classic Maximum Cards. The Fake MCs are made from Genuine postcard, Genuine stamp, however, the postmarks are FAKE. The result of the 3 maximaphily exhibits present at Bangkok is as follows :

1. Wild Animals - We cannot have a world without them  65 SB : Author - Song Ying Tao (China)
2. A general consideration of the bridge shape 72 S : Author - Chung Jung Su ( Korea )
3. Roof 65 SB : Author - Song Heng ( China )

Malaysia National Exhibition - MyStamp Show 2009 : 19-20 Dec.2009

Philatelic Society Malaysia has its National Exhibition i.e MyStamp Show 2009 held from 19-20 December, 2009 at MBPJ Library, Petaling Jaya. The exhibition attracted 18 exhibitors to participate - a maximaphily exhibit was submitted earlier, however, withdrawn at the last minute. Will like to see new maximaphily exhibits for the coming year show in 2010.
