Wau (kite) is a traditional pastime sport/game of the Malaysians, especially those residing in the East Coast States. The wau is hand made. Above is a maximum card of a "cat wau" in a postcard reproduced from an original traditional Batik Artwork. To achieve the maximum concordance in the realisation of the maximum card, a first day issue special postmark cancellation from Kota Bharu was used.

During the childhood days in the kampong (village), everywhere is nature, you can embrace the nature, experience the sun rises and sun sets. In the rubber plantations, you can see the morning rays shine across the neatly planted rows of rubber trees, what a splendid picture of the nature. Those were the days to remember. The above maximum card captures the old memories of the days in the rubber plantation.

儿时接触的到处都是自然, 你能环抱自然, 观看日出与日落, 看那晨曦穿过整齐排列的橡胶树, 真是别有一翻景象. 橡胶园极限片不难叫我回顾童年的快乐.

Rubber is a primary product of Malaysia. Malaysia is one of the biggest exporters of rubber.

A postcard of an artwork depicting an early morning scene of a rubber plantation is used to realise a Maximum Card. The picture recalls my childhood memories of the life in the rubber plantations, full of freedom and fresh air everywhere. Really enjoy the days where we used to catch fish in the streams in the rubber plantations.

橡胶仍是马来西亚的主要原产农作物。采用了一枚橡胶园绘画明信片制作了极限片，勾起了儿时在橡胶园丘里渡过的欢乐时光，还常常到园丘内的小溪捕捉小鱼，真是自由自在。

The giant flag dance of Penang is a traditional acrobatic dance whereby acrobats rotate to uphold the giant flag by passing the flag from one to other. The dance is performed on the streets whenever there is a celebration of event in the State.

槟城大旗舞是一项传统的杂技舞，舞者通过把偌大的旗帜抛空由一个舞者传至另一个以肩膊挺直旗帜，难度其高。一般的大型庆典上都能见到大旗舞的表演。

Wau Bulan is simply beautiful! (Maximum Card) 美丽的大马传统风筝(极限片)

Wau Bulan (the Moon Kite ) is simply graceful and beautiful when it flies in the sky. It is equally beautiful when captured on the maximum card. The most appropriate place for the cancellation of a postmark of concordance will be a post office in the State of Kelantan, since, Wau Bulan is a traditional kite commonly made and played by the locals of the State. A pictorial First Day of Issue postmark was selected to make the cancellation on the maximum card since it has a concordant pictorial Wau which ties nicely with the stamp and card.

美丽的“哇”风筝（或称月亮型风筝)是大马东海岸一带人们喜爱的一种休闲活动。“哇”风筝飞起来时轻盈美丽。制作极限片首选的地点邮戳自然是东海岸州属吉兰丹的哥打巴鲁了。这枚首日纪念戳还刻有和谐的“哇”风筝。

Kite flying is a pastime hobby of the East Coast States of Malaysia. The most popular type of kite is the Wau Bulan (Moon Kite). The kite has been adopted by the National Carrier of Malaysia as the official logo.

马来西亚东海岸盛行放风筝，典型色彩缤纷的月亮型风筝最受落。其风筝形象也成了国家航空的标志。

The history of collecting and creating of maximum cards in Malaysia is new. Probably some philatelists came to be acquintance with the hobby of maximaphily only in the 80s as trace of a few maximum cards was noted to be created in the period. Earlier examples were rarely seen, however, this QE II maximum card is noted to have been created by a collector in the 50s who might have some logical understanding of what is maximaphily ? In the 50s, there was NOT even a set of rules of guide to the creation of a perfect maximum card, nevertheless, the MC was perfectly done!

极限集邮在马来西亚的历史尚浅。或许在80年代时期是极限集邮在本土萌芽的时候。就有数枚初期极限片的制作日期是处于80年代时期。更早过80年代的大马极限片，异常罕见。以上就有一枚英女皇极限片，销戳50年代，足以证明早在当时就有有心人懂得制作极限片。50年代还不曾有一套极限规则教导集邮人如何去制作一枚和谐的极限片，会有如此佳片出现，作者真有远见。

Penang bridge is the longest bridge in Malaysia. It was first featured on the stamp in the year 1985. It has been regarded as one of the achievements that All Malaysians are proud of. For the 50th anniversary of independence of our nation, again Penang Bridge is featured on stamp as one of the major achievements of Malaysia since its independence.

A maximum card / maxicard of the Penang Bridge is realised as above.

衔接威省与槟岛的大桥是马来西亚最长的桥。1985年槟威大桥上了邮票，今次适逢我国独立50周年之际，槟威大桥再次成为邮票上的部分主题。

In the early days in Melaka, Rickshaw was the ONLY luxurious transport on land affordable by the RICH. Jonker Street in Melaka was a business district with active trading, rickshaws were seen busy running on the street with passengers. This OLD postcard shows a scene of the then Jonker street with rickshaws within the busy street.

Dataran Merdeka (Indpendence Square) witnessed the lowering of the British Union Jack Flag on the midnight of the 30th August,1957.

A new Malayan Flag was raised from 31st August,1957 signified a new born nation - Malaya.

At present, Dataran Merdeka stands the tallest flag pole in the world.
