Kite flying is a pastime hobby of the East Coast States of Malaysia. The most popular type of kite is the Wau Bulan (Moon Kite). The kite has been adopted by the National Carrier of Malaysia as the official logo. 马来西亚东海岸盛行放风筝，典型色彩缤纷的月亮型风筝最受落。其风筝形象也成了国家航空的标志。
