Yes, to be exact .. it is a "heart" shaped by your hands 是的，苛求一点 。。 那是一个用手砌成的心状

yes，there are various postcards featuring shape of  a heart, to be exact, the ones with shape of hearts formed by the bare hands are the closest to the picture depicted on the stamp.

带有“心”的明信片还不那么难找， 要找一枚配合邮票以手砌成心状的片就不是那么简单，可遇不可求。

At the time of creating this MC, I could not figure out the location of the airport depicted on the 80sen stamp (100 years of Aviation in Malaysia stamp), some suggested it is the Old Melaka Airport, however, no matter which angle I look at it, it does NOT resemble the airport at Batu Berendam , Melaka.  Pos Malaysia did NOT describe and give the detail of  the actual location of the airport .... from my collection of postcard, I could find an airport card of the British airways Era which has a view of the airport control tower structure rather similar to that of  the image depicted on the stamp. I could say during the period of time, the design of the airport tower around the world was quite similar.

I thought I should NOT miss to realise an MC on Airbus A380 's first appearance on a Malaysia Stamp 7.7.2011 空中巨无霸A380首度登入大马邮票，不制作极限片，实有点可惜。

 

Just for the sake of realising "100 Year of Aviation in Malaysia" MCs , I detoured from an assignment at Majlis Perbandaran Nilai and shot to KLIA via Enstek country road. When I arrived at approx. 10.00 am, was told by the postal staff, all the stamps and covers had been fully SOLD, as I had got myself prepared with the stamps I bought earlier from Seremban GPO, hence, I only requested for the rubber stamp to have my Maximum Cards postmarked. Airbus A380 - the biggest commercial aircraft in history is featured for the first time on a Malaysian Stamp, although Malaysia has yet to acquire one . I thought I should NOT miss this stamp on a maximum card.  I received several telephone calls to request to buy and service FDCs on behalf, however, nothing can be done .... the set of stamps and covers were SOLD out early in the morning at all the post offices nationwide.

 

I do not collect First Day Covers, But due to the request from a FDC Lover, I bought the "100 year of Aviation in Malaysia" stamps and covers from Seremban GPO and serviced them @ KLIA post office. A pictorial cancel and a CDS postmark were applied on the FDC.

'Greco-Roman Sculpture' - George Constantourakis' Other 8-Frame Maximaphily Exhibit winning GOLD at the Recent 'Royale2011Royal' Exhibition

I wish to mention about this 8 Frame MC exhibit 'Greco-Roman Sculpture' owned by George Constantourakis , which had previously won 4 FIP Large Vermeils and Twice with "Best Exhibit in the Class" is now awarded with a GOLD at Royale2011Royal with 94 points. I believe the exhibit will be showcased again in the near future at a FIP exhibition avenue, I hope to see a good performance of this exhibit. Once again Congratulations !

What a world of difference in Judging of Maximaphily Exhibits - A comparison of Results @ Indipex 2011 and other Exhibition avenues

Indipex 2011 shattered the hearts of many MC exhibitors. The judging result for the Maximaphily Class surprised the world of maximaphily. It is no doubt Indipex 2011 is the Dark Age for the development of Maximaphily. However, that is NOT the end of the world for Maximaphily, there are many other avenues for MC collectors and exhibitors to excel and be recognised in the proper manner. I just came to know about the exhibit "The History of Maximaphily" by George Constantourakis which was awarded a mere Vermeil medal @ Indipex 2011, is now crowned a GOLD equivalent in the Court of Honor Class in the recent Canadian Royale*2011*Royal exhibition held from 13-15 May, 2011 - a high respect was given to a Maximaphily Exhibit and an Honour to a renowned Maximaphily collector and exhibitor. Congratulations ! I am glad to note such a fair result presented for a Maximaphily Exhibit.  Again, to all maximum card collectors and exhibitors, I will like to say there are other avenues in this world for the MC lovers to indulge in exhibiting, Indipex 2011 is just an unfortunate event in the History of Maximaphily, the Hobby which is currently picked up by many collectors worldwide, will continue to flourish and popular in the future. Bravo! MC collectors, continue with your work on the realisation of Maximum Cards .......

Today is Mother's Day, will like to wish all mothers - a Happy Mother's Day !

妈妈离开了我们18月，今年已经不能通过电话给妈妈送上母亲节的寄语了。唯有在这部落格上给妈妈寄上祝福。愿伟大的妈妈在这一天里依然能够听到我们心里的祝福。在这一个母亲节，愿纪念您一生为我们的付出，满心的感谢您！永远永远！Mum  left us some 18 months ago,  I shall longer able to greet and wish mum a Happy Mother's Day . Mum had been the greatest person in my life, she was a shelter, she was an adviser and most of all, she was my greatest caretaker. Mum is now somewhere in an eternal world, I will like to once again wish mum a Happy Mother's Day. I hope mum is able to hear my wish and happy in her other part  of   the world, probably together with Dad. I missed you, Mum and thank you for your years for bringing up all of us. Thank you Mum.

There was no stamp issued in the past in Malaysia to celebrate the Mother's Day, I know there are several stamps issued for this event internationally. I will share with all a nice Malaysia Maximum Card depicting a great mother cuddling her son.  What a lovely scene depicting a loving mother. With this , I will like to wish All mothers a Happy Mother's Day.

A total surprise and disappointment with the result of the Maximaphily competitive exhibit @ the recently concluded Indipex 2011 !

Just got hold of the award list for the recently concluded World Philatelic Exhibition "Indipex 2011" held @ New Delhi, India from 12-18 February, 2011, which is appended as follows :

To my shock is the award presented to  the exhibit "History of Maximaphily 1872-1949" which had been showcased in many exhibitions of the world winning many awards above the Large Vermeil medal, the highest being a GOLD medal award @ China 2009 held @ Luoyang. I had the honour to see this exhibit in several occassions and I believed the exhibit had been rewritten and improved before sending to Indipex 2011, as I can notice the title of the exhibit had been revised to include a period from 1872 - 1949, which is a difficult classiscal period for the acquisition of  maximum cards. The author is  always a great supporter for the Maximaphily Class in FIP exhibition, besides supporting the show Indipex 2011, the author is aiming to receive a higher award for his exhibit. The author is a forerunner on the collecting of Maximum Cards and this exhibit he owns is one of the best in the world currently. With an excellent track record of good award at previous World Philatelic Exhibition, how was it marked down @ Indepex 2011 world exhibition? The award dropped from a previous GOLD to a Vermeil, how could this happen ? What is the implication ?

I used to take this exhibit as a "thermometer" to gauge the responses from the MC collectors and the comments from the Juries , and more to measure on the FIP 's acceptance on this particular class of philately. As I know the exhibit which had been written, researched for many years and much time and monies had been spent in order to acquire the many unique classical MCs to put up the exhibit,  all these are for the HOBBY of maximaphily and  for ONE aim - the recognition of the hobby by the FIP.  If the exhibit " History of Maximaphily - 1872-1949" , an exhibit containing 256 MCs from a classical period  deserves ONLY to be awarded with a Vermeil medal, I cannot imagine the many maximaphily exhibits which had been prepared and in the process of writing, what will be their fate when they are to be shown in the future exhibitions ?  Maximaphily seems to be a nobody's child in FIP. Does the Indipex 2011 result alert the FIP on this particular class of philately ? Will FIP analyse why was there a drastical difference in the judging of maximaphily exhibits at Indipex 2011 as compared to the  previous shows ? Perhaps, as I have said, Maximaphily is an abandoned child in the FIP family, FIP will NOT care!

As an enthusiast or fanatic in Maximaphily, I must say, Indipex 2011 hurts many maximaphilists throughout the world. Indipex 2011 gives a discouraging signal to all MC collectors so as to refrain from exhibiting. I must comment on the FIP on the unfairness treatment for maximaphily, every exhibitor pays for the exhibtion ( and it is NOT cheap really ), and the rate applies to all classes, maximaphilists pay for the similar rate of exhibition fee, BUT it seems the judging treatment given was different ! Mind all, if ONLY you are a maximaphily exhibitor , you will NOT feel the unfair treatment existed in FIP ! For an exhibiting fee approx. 50USD per frame, an Eight frame costs 400 USD, think for yourself, is it worth submitting your maximaphily entry for a consolation award?  Indipex 2011 clearly hints the intention of the FIP ... in fact LONDON 2010 had spearheaded with the objection of maximaphily exhibits to be represented in the show, I wonder, how could FIP allow such a discrimination went ahead, if maximaphily is recognised as a FIP family member, how was there a drastical marks difference occured in Indipex 2011, and yet silence in the FIP ? Maximaphilists pay for the similar exhibition fee, BUT, the final treatment of the award is a total difference. FIP rules had NOT changed lately, I am curious about the "NEW" rules applied @ Indipex 2011 ? Can anyone anywhere clarify the great fluctuation of the marking system applied @ Indipex 2011? An answer is needed to solve the mystery of the marking and awards given @ Indipex 2011. I will describe this event as the DARK AGE of Maximaphily and the fact is needed to be recorded in the history of Maximaphily.

Indipex 2011 obviously had planted a BOMB in the world of maximaphily, it does give some indication to the World of Maximaphily the intention of the FIP. As a maximaphilist myself, I still regard "History of Maximaphily - 1872-1949" is a fine collection ever written by a renowned maximaphilist, in the eye of a maximaphilist, this exhibit deserves a GOLD medal and I will salute to such a FINE exhibit ! I will like to further stress that HOBBY is a hobby, Maximaphily is a FINE hobby, Do enjoy the hobby .. the Hobby faces criticism from the TRADITIONAL collectors, BUT as a MC collector, we do NOT have to care about others, as this hobby has its uniqueness, I can see if ONLY maximaphilists continue to create MCs, continue to produce excellent MCs, the future of Maximaphily is as BRIGHT as the burning Sun.

圣经中常提到的香料: 肉桂

肉桂產於亞熱帶，樹皮散發香氣，研碎後可用作香料。
经节：
出埃及記三十章23節 的「香肉桂」
箴言七章17節的  「桂皮」
 雅歌四章14節的 「桂樹」
啟示錄十八章13節的「肉桂」，無疑是一种肉桂香料。

用作貿易的肉桂是取自樹的內皮，從約有4至5年樹齡的樹剝下來。在多山的地區，肉桂樹必須多種幾年才可削皮，品質最好的桂皮來自較嫩的樹 枝。削皮的方法是用利刀在樹身兩旁縱向切開，剝下來的樹皮便呈空心的圓柱形。將這些圓柱形的長枝或「管子」再束成約一磅重的捆子 。

猶太人常因肉桂是一種馨香的東西，所以看它為極高尚的香料和香膏。肉桂是製造聖膏油的主要材料之一。神曾命摩西用這些聖膏油來膏抹會幕裡的聖具，以及用來膏立祭司。
毫無疑問，肉桂必定是珍貴和價值不菲的。
