Illustrated here is an ordinary "Watch" Advertisement postcard with a large image of a wrist watch at the centre of the card. Not really attractive with the presence of the watch sitting right at the middle of the card. However, with the manipulation by pasting the postage stamp over the image of the watch, tie it with a related pictorial postmarking , the overall picture of the maximum card looks attractive.

这里是一枚不见起眼的普通手表广告片，大大的一个手表图占据在中央。然而在贴上一枚邮票遮盖了手表图后，销盖一个相关的图案戳，一枚效果全然不同极限片产生了。

Unveil the hidden story of the maximum card posted yesterday : The object hidden behind the stamp is a large Time Watch. This is an advertising postcard of a Swiss Watch company.

揭开昨日在这里贴的一枚极限片谜底 ：藏在邮票后面的实物是一个大腕表。这是一枚著名瑞士表公司发行的广告片。

This is an advertisement postcard for which I had turned into a maximum card of the relevant theme - Military Soldiers.  I had pasted the stamp over an object in the "Time Frame"( the advertising subject) and cancelled with a FDI Pictorial cachet to produce a concordant Maximum card.   The maximum card gives an impression that the soldiers were looking for possible enemies hiding in the abandoned building. I will NOT disclose the object behind the stamp now, I shall disclose the answer by tomorrow.   What I want to express here is, Maximaphily makes transformation, and that is the FUN of maximaphily . Cheers !

这里贴一枚由普通广告片制作的极限片 - 军人。 我刻意把片上的广告主角以一枚邮票给遮隐，并盖销一枚首日发行图案戳，促成一枚和谐的极限片。制成后的片让人感觉军人似乎在寻找废置屋子内躲藏的敌人。暂时我保留邮票遮隐部位的实物，明天才为大家来揭晓。我主要是要让大家知道，极限可以把一枚丑小鸭变天鹅，这就是极限的乐趣！共赏。

Do you know covered under the stamp is a WATCH ?

For an Ad Card like the above, image of an advertising product appearing on the card cannot be avoided. Fortunately, the image is printed on one corner and can be ideally covered over by a stamp. This is an Ad Card by a renown Watch Company, by covering the image of the Watch by a postage stamp, it becomes an ideal Maximum Card.

Tugu Malaysia War Memorial VS USA IWO JIMA War Memorial

Without a closer look, the USA IWO JIWA War Memorial monument with the Soldiers upholding a US Flag looks similar to the Tugu Malaysia War Memorial with the soldiers upholding a Malaysian Flag. Does the similarity happen coincidently ?

I was at the GPO KL on 31.7.2010 to have my National Monument MC done

On the day of issue of the stamp "Brave Warrior" 31.07.2010, I had most of my MCs done in Seremban ( My home town ), however, I still needed to rush to GPO Kuala Lumpur to have other MCs of the Malaysia Monument Done on a Saturday afternoon. All Philatelic Bureaux in Malaysia had long been closed on Saturdays, I did NOT know the office hours for the bureau operating on the first Saturday, I was late arriving at the GPO. I had to get my MCs stamped as these MCs I was creating were different to those I had made earlier in the morning.  For this MC, I have chosen to use a stamp depicting the National Monument which  was issued in 2007 as I see by doing so, the Maximum Card can achieve a  3 + 1 concordance  . Why do I say 3 + 1 instead of 3 ? Yes, I will always define a pictorial cancel to have 2 elements in it i.e  (a) a name of the post office and (b) a Pictorial cachet . In this particular MC, I will consider it to have a 4 elements in concordance.

I have seen and glad that Maximaphilist "epylim" had made similar MCs on the day of issue. Obviously, "epylim" has  great instinct and interest towards Maximaphily. Congratulations !

The soldiers are looking for a missing WATCH of the General!

It is an ordinary Advertisement Card of a prestige Watch Company with a caption "Time Frame" at the top. It is an ideal card for the creation of a maximum card for the "Brave Warrior Award" stamp issued on 31.7.2010. The perfect location to paste the stamp is to affix it on top of the image of the Watch. The final Maximum card with the prominent Watch image covered becomes a perfect piece of MC which no one can tell there was initially a "watch" sitting right at the middle of the postcard. In maximaphily, it is up to the individual to play with the stamp and postcard, an ordinary advert card can be moulded to become a wonderful Maximum Card.

GPO door closed @ 3 pm on 31.7.10, I was late ! My enthusiasm in Maximaphily with persuasion moved one of the staffs to allow me in to complete the cancellation for my MCs

It was a Saturday - 31st. July, 2010, Normally Philatelic Bureaux throughout the country are closed for the weekend. It had been a long time that new stamps were NOT for sale on Saturdays. This "Brave Warrior" stamp issue set an experimental platform for the Post to gauge on the response from the public on the sales of  new stamps on Saturdays. As this is the "first" time Post was selling  new stamp on a Saturday, it neglected to announce to the public on the business  hour of the day. I am from a different city, I would have to get  the  GPO FDI pictorial postmark on my maximum cards. I thought GPO would close as usual at 5 pm. When I showed up at the GPO at 3.30 pm, the staffs were about to pack to go home. I was told that the business for the day had been closed at 3.00 pm. My God, I rushed all the way to GPO to get a "Kuala Lumpur" Postmark on my maximum cards, the bad news was really a great disappointment to me. I persuaded one of the staffs to stay for a little longer to allow me to have my maximum cards cancelled, with my explanation elaborating with Maximaphily, I managed to move the staff to allow me in to complete my mission. I did  most of my maximum cards at my home town earlier in the morning, however, I needed the "Kuala Lumpur" postmark for some of my other maximum cards. Why do I need "Kuala Lumpur" cancellation, I will elaborate  in my subsequent blogs.
