Although Males dominate the World of Maximaphily, however, the first maximaphilist to win a Gold Medal for Maximaphily in an international exhibition was a Female , the late Madame Magaret K. from Greece. She was living in the age when Maximaphily was practically unknown to everybody, she had the passion to research and look for early MCs which were created by chance by the then collectors.
